Return & Exchange Policy

We want you to love your purchase. This Return & Exchange Policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds work at 1002 Bikes for in-store and online orders.

Quick summary: Unused items in original packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery/purchase with proof of purchase. Some items (e-bike batteries, electrical components, installed/used parts, special orders, and clearance/final-sale items) are not returnable. Shipping is non-refundable. Restocking fees
may apply to bicycles and special orders.

1. Eligibility Window

• Returns and exchanges must be initiated within 14 days of in-store purchase or delivery date for online orders.
• Exchanges after 14 days may be accommodated at our discretion.

2. Condition of Items

• Items must be new, unused, uninstalled, and in original manufacturer packaging with all accessories and manuals.
• Bikes must show no signs of use (no mileage, dirt, or wear) and include all accessories (chargers, keys, reflectors, pedals).

3. Non-Returnable Items

• E-bike batteries, motors, controllers, wiring harnesses, and other electrical components once installed or used.
• Installed parts, consumables (tubes, brake pads, chains) once opened/installed, and labor/service charges.
• Special-order items, custom builds, and gift cards.
• Clearance or marked “Final Sale” items.

4. Proof of Purchase

• A valid receipt, order confirmation, or matching customer account is required for all returns/exchanges.

5. Refund Method

• Approved refunds are issued to the original form of payment. Cash purchases over $50 may be refunded by company check within 7 business days.
• Original shipping/delivery charges are non-refundable. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless we made an error.

6. Restocking Fees

• Complete bicycles returned in resalable condition may be subject to a 10% restocking fee to cover assembly, inspection, and handling.
• Special-order items may incur up to a 15% restocking fee where permitted by the supplier.

7. Defects, Damage & Warranties

• If your item arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery. Retain packaging for carrier inspection.
• Manufacturer warranties (if any) apply. We can assist with warranty evaluation and claims in accordance with the manufacturer’s terms.

8. How to Start a Return

• Email byron@1002bikes.com with your name, order number, item(s), and reason for return; or call (941) 933-2453.
• We may issue a Return Authorization (RA) number. Items returned without an RA may be delayed.
• Ship returns to: 1002 Bikes, Attn: Returns, 1002 Manatee Ave. E, Suite B, Bradenton, FL 34208.

9. In-Store Returns

• Bring the item, original packaging, accessories, and proof of purchase. For bikes, we will inspect and verify condition before approving the return.

10. Exchanges

• When stock allows, we’re happy to exchange for a different size/model. Any price difference will be charged or refunded accordingly.

11. Abuse & Exceptions

• We reserve the right to refuse returns that show signs of use, damage, or missing components, or where the policy is being abused.

12. Policy Changes

• We may update this Return Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on our website
with a new Effective Date.
